U.S. public companies that stopped reporting to the SEC
Type a company name or a CIK. 1,619 companies that stopped reporting to the SEC, from the SEC's EDGAR filing indexes, 2023 to 2026.
Did this company stop operating altogether? Its internal data may still have value — see the data of a company that has stopped operating. Or a dated record report.
What this is
A public company that no longer wants, or no longer needs, to report to the Securities and Exchange Commission files a Form 15 (or 15F for a foreign issuer). This site lists the companies that filed one between January 2023 and October 2026, with the date and the kind of form.
Who uses it
- Former employees and investors — when did this company leave the public market?
- Trustees, administrators and acquirers — see the data of a company that has stopped operating.
- Delisted by an exchange? — see U.S. companies delisted by an exchange.
What it is not
Not the SEC, not EDGAR and not an exchange. A Form 15 is filed after an acquisition, a going-private deal, a bankruptcy, or simply when a company falls below the threshold of shareholders. The record cannot tell them apart.
